God I love chickpeas so much. They’re healthy, meaty, and full of win. So, I have a burning love for them, but I’m extremely lazy. How do I solve this problem? Through the power of foodgawker, I find this recipe. It’s awesome because its super easy to make, and it creates a snack that doesn’t need to be reheated.
Healthy Roasted Chickpeas
1 can of chickpeas
seasonings (i used curry powder and tumeric)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Get a baking pan, and lay some aluminum foil out. Place the rinsed chickpeas in a separate bowl, and mix them with your seasonings and a drizzle of olive oil. Spread them out on the baking pan, then grind up some sea salt on top. Bake for about 20-25 minutes (every 10 minutes or so, you should mix them up so they bake evenly). Take them out, let them cool, then eat it up.
Why is it so goooood?
